Who We Are
We are dedicated to providing assistance to mothers and families who have tragically lost a child to gun violence. We also offer resources to families who have experienced similar losses due to unavoidable circumstances. Our comprehensive services include various techniques to alleviate grief and stress, promoting the health and wellness of our community.
Rashad was a 19-year-old aspiring and ambitious college student at City College of San Francisco. He was working two jobs and navigating through life with determination. Rashad was born at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA, raised in Richmond, CA, and later graduated from Richmond High School. He actively participated in many student activities and was a member of the football team, where he developed his leadership skills through playing Pop Warner football with the Richmond Steelers.
Rashad had an infectious smile, warm and embracing hugs, and a personality that brightened any room and touched many hearts. He deeply loved his family, friends, and community. His involvement with his church family instilled in him a philanthropic mindset to give back to his community, particularly with the elders, children, and homeless. We aim to honor his warm spirit by engaging in acts of humanity, giving back to the community, and supporting mothers and families for peace and prosperity.
